Dr. Mimi Secor is a Nurse Practitioner, National Speaker/ Educator, and Consultant. Her current passion is helping NPs become Healthy and Fit! She has worked for 42 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health. In 2015, Ms. Secor earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. Dr. Secor is a guest lecturer at NP programs in New England and around the country. She has also published extensively, including her new 2018 co-authored textbook, Advanced Health Assessment of Women; Skills and Procedures, and her 2018 co-authored textbook, Fast Facts About the Gynecologic Exam for Nurse Practitioners, PAs and Midwives: Conducting the GYN Exam in a Nutshell. She has years of media experience including as a national radio host of the NP program, Partners in Practice on ReachMD. She has also been a guest on Good Morning America, interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and many others. Mimi has received several awards, including in 2018 being voted one of the Top 10 NPs in the US (sponsored by POCN) and the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP).

Wendy received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts and completed a family nurse practitioner post-master’s program in 1995. She is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of two, nurse practitioner owned and operated clinics within New Hampshire named: Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. Her family practices have won numerous awards, including Top Providers in New Hampshire 2018, Top 20 Fastest Growing Family Business, and Top 20 Women-Owned Business in New Hampshire. In addition, she is the Owner of Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company. She is the Past President of NPACE and the Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates. She is the recipient of numerous awards and was chosen by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. In addition, she received the 2009 NH Nurse Practitioner of the Year and the 2014 Top 5 Women in New Hampshire Business Award.

Karen Myrick DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, ANP-BC

Karen M. Myrick is an Associate Professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Health and Science, in the Department of Nursing at Saint Joseph University, Connecticut, and Associate Professor of Medical Sciences at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Dr. Myrick received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing from The University of Connecticut. She is a Nurse Practitioner with expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Myrick is the recipient of the 2016 National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty Outstanding Researcher Award. Her research agenda includes a collaborative and interprofessional program of scholarship that focuses on orthopedic and sports injury prevention, management and epidemiology, and best practices for injured athletes to return to, or obtain optimal performance. Dr. Myrick’s professional background includes over 18 years in Advanced Nursing Practice, including maintaining current clinical practice in an orthopedic urgent care. She has a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Methods, a Fellowship in Leadership for Academic Nursing Programs (LANP), and a Fellowship in Interprofessional Education.

Josh Hamilton, DNP, RN-BC, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CNE, FAANP

Dr. Josh Hamilton bases his clinical practice in Las Vegas, NV. With more than two decades of nursing experience, he also holds professorial appointments, leadership positions and consults extensively in the higher education space. His professional interests include neurobiology, pharmacology and epigenetics. He is an internationally-recognized speaker on these (and related) topics at conferences and professional meetings. He works with a variety of organizations to develop, review and present live and enduring continuing education activities. He also serves on the psychiatric medication working group at the Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science & Innovation, a FDA-sponsored project at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Hamilton earned his doctorate in nursing from Rush University in Chicago. He is nationally certified as a psychiatric-mental health nurse; family nurse practitioner; family psychiatric nurse practitioner, telemental healthcare provider, and nurse educator. He was recognized as a doctoral scholar by the National League for Nursing, and he is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He is currently the Nevada state representative for AANP.

Jay is the Director of Pharmacy and Integrative Health at Harbor Homes in Nashua, NH. Recognized by Cardinal Health and the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations, he is a leader amongst the global community educating about integrative therapies, polypharmacy epidemic and de-prescription. He has compiled many case studies related to his de-prescription efforts over the years. Jay is also a co-Founder of YogaCaps, Inc. and RxRelax. YogaCaps is the largest free integrative therapeutic yoga program for people with chronic health conditions and has its base in New Hampshire hospitals. RxRelax educates healthcare professionals about evidence-based integrative health approaches and provides certification and continuing education credits.

Brett Badgley Snodgrass is a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing at First Choice Care in Collieville, TN. She has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in multiple settings for the last 12 years. She is also the owner of BBS Health Education –where she creates and presents continuing education for healthcare providers, both live and online. She is a nationally recognized nurse practitioner speaker and teacher. She is also an award-winning healthcare blogger –The NP Mom. Brett is a chronic pain expert, working for more than 20 years with chronic pain patients in many settings. Brett is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where she is currently the TN State Representative. She is also a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brett received the 2015 AANP State Excellence Award for Tennessee for her work across the state on the TN Chronic Pain Task Force, as well as advocating for TN Full Practice Authority for Nurse Practitioners. She was also awarded the 2017 Memphis Business Journal Healthcare Hero Award.

Dr. Michael E. Zychowicz is Professor and Director of the MSN Program at Duke University School of Nursing where he provides administrative oversight for 11 majors, 6 clinical specialty certificate programs and is co-director for 2 post-graduate Nurse Practitioner (NP) residency programs. He leads the only graduate level Orthopedic NP specialty program in the US. He is certified as both an Adult Nurse Practitioner and an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Zychowicz was selected as the 2004 NY State NP of the Year and received the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Award for Excellence in 2007. He was selected as a Fellow of the AANP (2007) and was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (2013). He has participated in the AACN Leadership for Academic Nursing Program Fellowship (2007-2008) and was recently selected to participate in the AACN –Wharton Executive Leadership Program Fellowship (2016-2017).

Sally K. Miller, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP

Dr. Sally Miller has been a practicing nurse practitioner for 28 years. She holds four nurse practitioner certifications including Family, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, and Psychiatric Mental Health. Dr. Miller is a clinical professor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia. She maintains an active clinical practice with ICarePsychiatry. Sally has published over 30 research and clinical articles with an emphasis on issues related to adult health and illness and obesity. Dr. Miller is an active conference presenter and author in the NP community since 1996 and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
