RISING TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PATIENTS

OCTOBER 25, 2022

Natick, MA: As the demand for quality health care continues to increase, nurse practitioners (NPs) are rising to meet the needs of patients. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, NPs have been on the front lines of health care delivery, ensuring patients have access to lifesaving vaccinations, as well as primary, acute, long-term and specialty care. To honor their many contributions to the health of communities nationwide, Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE) would like to announce that Charles D. Baker, Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has proclaimed November 13th – 19th, 2022 to be NP Week. The proclamation aims to celebrate and recognize 325,000 licensed Nurse Practitioners in the United States, and 15,645 in Massachusetts.

NPACE would like to honor and give thanks to NPs at the NPACE Boston Conference from November 11th – 14th, 2022. The proclamation will be read at NPACE Boston Conference on the 13th of November. Celebrate NPs as people’s trusted healthcare providers with NPACE this fall. Registration for the Boston Conference can be found here.

“NPACE is excited to celebrate Nurse Practitioner Week and thanks all nurse practitioners for what they do to improve healthcare in Massachusetts and the United States. We look forward to reading the proclamation at the NPACE Boston Conference as well as celebrating Nurse Practitioner Week with special discount available in the NPACE Learning Center.” – Josh Plotkin, Chief Operation Officer
