Good Company: How NPACE Brings the Best to Your Door

Good Company: How NPACE Brings the Best to Your Door

November is a natural time to take stock of what we are grateful for. At NPACE I am grateful for so much: The work, the team, and the amazing advanced practice providers I get to meet through our work and events. One more area I am especially grateful for is the company we keep in our friends and partners.

NPACE’s mission is to deliver exceptional, evidence-based continuing education and professional development to advanced practice providers. Our secondary mission is to connect APPs with good information, without firewalls or membership dues. Over the past several years, we’ve learned that we do our best at these two things when we keep good company. The partnerships we build, the perks we offer, and the free resources we share all serve one purpose: Providing the best information and the best organizations for practice and professional success in front of APPs across the country.

Partners who extend our reach

No single organization covers everything an APP may need; thus the NPACE team works alongside respected organizations that help bring depth and information to NPACE learners in their own respective specialty areas. We have many amazing partnerships I am so grateful for and use as a practicing APP. One recent relationship is with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) where our learners can explore the latest information on diabetes, obesity, and cardiometabolic care through selected DOCs podcast releases. In education, we have worked with the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty (NONPF) to ensure that all NP faculty have success and the right tools to understand the unique needs of NP students.

Another recent partner is StatPearls, which offers a large library of peer-reviewed articles, accredited activities, and specialty question banks. Healio works with us in on-demand education distribution but also keeps clinicians current with news, podcasts, and community forums, and NPACE learners have a special registration benefit for Healio LIVE in spring 2027. We work with Springer Publishing to bring discounts on updated textbooks to practicing clinicians.

These partners join others including APEA, the Gerontological Society of America, and more. Check them all out on our Partners and Perks page. Each partner was chosen because they add value to the professional lives of our learners.

Opening the door for the next generation: Free student and faculty seats

Some of NPACE's proudest work is in our dedication to APP faculty and APP students! At every live NPACE conference, we reserve five free seats for full-time NP and PA students and faculty. Students may use the free seat option once during their program, and full-time faculty may use one seat every five years. Faculty shape the future of our profession, and students are the future. Investing in both is one of the most meaningful things we do. We have some other tips and partners specifically for faculty and students. Learn more on our Students, Faculty, and Preceptors page.

Free learning, wherever you are

Good information should not always come with a price tag. Our YouTube channel offers lectures, podcasts, and wellness videos that any clinician can watch on their own schedule. The Friends of NPACE Podcast, released monthly on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, brings together our speakers, board members, staff, and outside experts to talk about professional practice and patient outcomes. These platforms allow NPACE to highlight timely topics and introduce our audience to voices they might not otherwise hear.

Support for APP entrepreneurs

More APPs are building their own practices. Starting a business raises questions that clinical training rarely answers, including malpractice coverage, collaborating physician agreements, financial planning, marketing, and healthcare law. We are big proponents of APP entrepreneurship and access to care. The NPACE Starting Your Own APP Business page connects entrepreneurs with organizations that specialize in these areas, including Duet, a network of NP-owned practices, and the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network. Our goal is to help APP-owned practices start strong and stay strong.

The thread that ties everything together

Partnerships, perks, free seats, videos, podcasts, and business resources may look like separate efforts, but for us at NPACE they share a single thread. Each of these is about connecting APPs with trustworthy information and organizations that make work and patient care better.

Thank you for being part of the NPACE community! I am so grateful for each of you. NPACE is deeply grateful for the clinicians, educators, and partners who make our work possible, and we look forward to bringing even more great friends and partners your way in 2027!
