Despite these alarming statistics, there is a greater need for education of primary care providers regarding the identification and diagnosis of eating disorders.
Eating disorders does not discriminate as it can affect people of all ages, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and genders1. Eating disorders frequently appear during the teen years or young adulthood but may also develop during childhood or later in life1. Continue reading
