Patsy Sulak, MD
Patricia Sulak, M.D. is a nationally recognized practicing physician, researcher, speaker, and medical school professor at Baylor Scott & White Health and Texas A&M College of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and then went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine graduating with honors. Dr. Sulak was named the 2006 Distinguished Alumnus. She completed her OBGYN residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC where she was named the General Graves B Erskine Resident of the Year. While in the Army, she received the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Achievement Medal. After leaving the Army, she joined Baylor Scott & White Health and Texas A&M College of Medicine where she continues to practice gynecology and mentor medical students and residents. Dr. Sulak continues to be included in “Best Doctors in America” and “Texas Super Docs” and has been selected Outstanding Clinical Instructor by the Texas A&M College of Medicine medical students. She was given a “Heroes for Children” award by the Texas State Board of Education and received the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Community Service Award for her work in school health. She founded and continues to direct the Adolescent Wellness & Sexual Health Program, one of the most commonly utilized sexual health curriculums in Texas and beyond. She is internationally recognized for her research on management of women’s menstrual disorders and currently focuses her clinical practice on perimenopausal and menopausal patients. While she continues to speak on numerous women’s health issues, her latest pursuit is promotion of scientifically proven healthy lifestyles to prevent disability and death leading to greater longevity and livelihood. Dr. Sulak founded and directs Living WELL Aware, a truly unique wellness program on disease prevention through healthy living, delineating the eleven essential elements to health and happiness. She empowers diverse audiences across the country to take ownership of their well-being and partner with their healthcare providers for optimal health. Dr. Sulak is married to Jeffrey A. Waxman, MD, a practicing urologist and medical school professor. He often teams up with Dr. Sulak to conduct wellness conferences and to speak on men’s health issues.
Sally Miller, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Sally Miller has been a practicing nurse practitioner for 28 years. She holds four nurse practitioner certifications including Family, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, and Psychiatric Mental Health. Dr. Miller is a clinical professor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia. She maintains an active clinical practice with ICarePsychiatry. Sally has published over 30 research and clinical articles with an emphasis on issues related to adult health and illness and obesity. Dr. Miller is an active conference presenter and author in the NP community since 1996 and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Josh Hamilton, DNP, RN-BC, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CNE, FAANP
Dr. Josh Hamilton bases his clinical practice in Las Vegas, NV. With more than two decades of nursing experience, he also holds professorial appointments, leadership positions and consults extensively in the higher education space. His professional interests include neurobiology, pharmacology and epigenetics. He is an internationally-recognized speaker on these (and related) topics at conferences and professional meetings. He works with a variety of organizations to develop, review and present live and enduring continuing education activities. He also serves on the psychiatric medication working group at the Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science & Innovation, a FDA-sponsored project at the University of Maryland. Dr. Hamilton earned his doctorate in nursing from Rush University in Chicago. He is nationally certified as a psychiatric-mental health nurse; family nurse practitioner; family psychiatric nurse practitioner, telemental healthcare provider, and nurse educator. He was recognized as a doctoral scholar by the National League for Nursing, and he is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He is currently the Nevada state representative for AANP.
Ryan Kennedy, DNP, NP-C
Dr. Ryan Kennedy is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University. He has collaborated in published research and writing with author and ADHD expert, Dr. Thomas Brown since 2011, and in 2017 he began work full-time as Clinical Associate at the Brown Clinic in Manhattan Beach, California. Dr. Kennedy provides evaluation and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults, and provides clinical training to resident physicians at UCLA. He has a special interest in treatment optimization using education, executive function coaching and tailored medications that best fit each patient. Dr. Kennedy has consulted with professional advisory boards, published articles in peer-reviewed journals, and presented in professional meetings. He assisted in the development of Dr. Brown’s 2017 book, Outside the Box: Rethinking ADD/ADHD in Children and Adults: A Practical Guide. And in 2019, Dr. Kennedy was co-author with Dr. Brown in the first open-access e-book: World Federation of ADHD Guide – “Establishing a Psychosocial Plan to Manage ADHD.” Chap. 4 – Psychosocial Interventions.

Theresa Mallick-Searle, MS, RN-BC, ANP-BC
Theresa is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, California. She received her graduate degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Her current clinical practice within the Division of Pain Medicine focuses primarily on the evaluation and treatment of individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions in both the acute care and outpatient settings. Theresa is a nationally recognized clinician, speaker, author, and thought leader in the field of pain management.
Jen Carlquist, PA-C
Jennifer Carlquist is a physician assistant that works in the Emergency Room and at a cardiology office in Salinas California. Previously, she worked as a 911 paramedic for 13 years starting in South Central Los Angeles and eventually settling down in Monterey. She speaks nationally on EKG’s and enjoys cycling and painting, some of which are featured in the lectures.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

FEES:  

All registrations must be paid in full by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) at the time of registration. NPACE no longer accepts payment by check. If using a Letter of Credit or complimentary registration, please contact the NPACE accounting office at 508-907-6424 for registration information. 

CANCELLATION BY REGISTRANT:   

Written notice of cancellation must be received by email or letter.  A refund, less a $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received no later than one month prior to the conference start date. Refunds are processed based on the original form of payment.  A letter of credit, less a $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received between 30 and 15 days of the conference start date. This is valid for 12 months from issuance and may be used towards any in-person or virtual NPACE event.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 14 days of the conference start date*. 

*CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19 EXPOSURE: 

The health and safety of all conference participants is of the utmost importance to us. In the event that a registrant has had direct contact with someone who has recently tested positive for COVID-19, is experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, and/or has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the conference start date, please contact NPACE at 508-907-6424 or npace@npace.org to cancel your registration. We will provide options to transfer your registration to another NPACE conference or extend a Letter of Credit (less a $50 non-refundable administrative fee).  

CANCELLATION OF EVENT:   

In the event NPACE cancels or postpones a conference due to circumstances beyond its control, NPACE’s liability shall be limited to refund of paid registration fees.
