NPACE continues to monitor the rapidly developing situation related to COVID-19, including CDC/WHO recommendations and stay-at-home orders, mandatory self-quarantines for travelers, and other regulations issued at Federal, State, and Local levels. As a result of ongoing restrictions, NPACE has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the following conferences: NPACE Primary Care & Pharmacology Conference Cape Cod (June 8-12) Clinical Essentials: NPACE Intensive Skills Training Waltham, MA (July 13-16) Registrants of our canceled conferences to date have been notified by email and received guidance on canceling their hotel reservations and travel arrangements. We are continuing to monitor developments in the Seattle area, and a final decision related to the NPACE Seattle conference will be made in the coming weeks. As of this time, all other future NPACE conferences are still proceeding as scheduled. We appreciate your patience as we work through this rapidly developing situation nationwide and will provide continuous updates here as needed. Travel Guidance: Given the fluidity of the situation, NPACE highly recommends that conference registrants research airline cancellation and rebooking policies before making travel arrangements, and book refundable airfare whenever possible. Registrants should also consider purchasing travel insurance, but recommend checking with the provider to ensure that it will cover cancellations due to COVID-19. Virtual Education Offerings: Understanding the need for continuing education and upcoming licensure deadlines for many NPs, NPACE is actively developing virtual educational offerings, to provide the NP community with the credit hours they need. More info to be announced soon! Please continue to monitor your email, the NPACE web site, and our social media channels for the latest updates.
