Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. NPACE is committed to providing the highest quality continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.

Participants who have paid for and attended a total of three NPACE conference locations within three consecutive calendar years or less (starting in 2018) are eligible for a free conference.

Be sure to register early as many NPACE events sell out! Hotel rates are per room and subject to state, local and occupancy taxes. To secure a room and obtain the special room rate, make your reservation early.
Program Changes
NPACE reserves the right to make necessary changes in speakers, topics or schedules. The most up-to-date program agendas can be found here.
Cancellation By Registrant
Written notice of cancellation must be received by email or letter. A refund, excluding the $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received no later than one month prior to the conference start date. Refunds are processed based on the original form of payment. A letter of credit, excluding the $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received between 30 and 8 days of the conference start date. This is valid for 12 months from issuance and may be used towards any NPACE conference. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 7 days of the conference start date.

Research should be focused on health policy, innovation, evidence based clinical practice, scientific research, or collaboration and interdisciplinary practice. Sub-topic ideas should include primary care, mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, or palliative- end of life care. Submission is open to students and faculty from MSN, DNP, and PhD programs.

- Discussion: Summary of the unpublished data or other relevant info
- Conclusion: Summarize in 1 or 2 sentences the primary outcomes of the study, including their potential significance
- Funding sources: Funding sources (organizations, institutions, agencies) for the research included in the abstract should be listed.
- Must not contain any commercial bias

- Short bio statements for all poster authors
- One measurable learning outcome.
- 50-word presentation summary that will be used for conference publication
- Entire poster must fit onto a 3-foot x 4-foot board
- Co-authors submitted with the accepted abstracts will be included in the conference materials.
- Decisions on abstract acceptance are final.
ATTENDANCE REQUIRED
Accepted abstracts must have a presenter in attendance during conference session breaks on Saturday, April 4, 2020 to present their poster(s).
It is not mandatory that the first author be pre-registered and present; the presenter may be any of the contributing authors or a colleague.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE
Author associated with an abstract must register for the conference and are responsible for all travel expenses (airfare, hotel, etc.) associated with presenting at the meeting. The conference registration is separate from the abstract submission. Abstracts will be removed from the conference if author(s) are not registered for the conference by 2/28/2020. If a presenter(s) withdraws from the conference the poster submission will be removed.
Note our Faculty Program: We recognize the important role of academic faculty in preparing the next generation of NP leaders, and as a show of support, we offer one free conference registration per 24-month period to full-time faculty of NP academic programs. A limited number of seats are put aside at each conference for faculty taking advantage of this NPACE Perk.

All abstracts will be reviewed and selected based on criteria requirements by an NPACE nurse planner. This will ensure adherence to ANCC Commission on Accreditation CE provider guidelines.
AUTHORS’ AGREEMENT
Upon acceptance of an abstract, presenters will receive a presenter agreement with dates and guidelines. This agreement will need to be signed and returned to NPACE within one week of receipt of email notification of poster acceptance. Failure to return agreement will result in removal of the abstract from the presentation.
