She is currently the Palliative Medicine Clinical Coordinator for the Baptist Healthcare System in Memphis, TN. Her primary focus is expansion of the palliative medicine program into other hospitals of the Baptist Healthcare System, as well as expanding the current program into the outpatient setting. She is also the owner of BBS Health Education – where she creates and presents continuing education for healthcare providers, both live and online (BBSHealthEducation.com). She is a nationally recognized nurse practitioner speaker and teacher. She is an award-winning healthcare blogger – The NP Mom. Brett Is a chronic pain expert, working for more than 20 years with chronic pain patients in a variety of settings. She has opened and directed two chronic pain practices. She is a sought after speaker on the subject of chronic pain and the Opioid Epidemic. She currently serves on the TN Chronic Pain Task Force. She is a director at large of the TN Pain Society. She also serves as a co-chair of the TN Access To Care Coalition. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, where she is the past TN State Representative. She is also a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brett received the 2015 AANP State Excellence Award for Tennessee for her work across the state on the TN Chronic Pain Task Force, as well as advocating for TN Full Practice Authority for Nurse Practitioners. She was also awarded the 2017 Memphis Business Journal Healthcare Hero Award.

Eric Wombwell, PharmD, BCIDP
Eric Wombwell, PharmD, BCIDP is a board certified infectious diseases pharmacist and Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, School of Pharmacy. He is active in lecturing, research and hospital pharmacy practice. Dr. Wombwell completed his PharmD degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City, followed by an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Upon residency completion, Wombwell accepted a full-time clinical faculty position at the UMKC, School of Pharmacy. He instructs in several courses with emphasis in the area of infectious diseases. Wombwell also serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Centerpoint Medical Center. In addition, Wombwell is adjunct faculty with the UMKC, School of Dentistry teaching infectious diseases curricular content to dental students in the Pharmacology and Therapeutics course series. Dr. Wombwell has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications on pharmacy and medication-related topics, and has delivered more than 50 invited presentations locally and nationally for continuing education to various health professional audiences. He has been named Teacher-of-the-year in various capacities, including “UMKC Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching” in 2014.
Phyllis Everett, MSN, RN, AOCN, AGN-BC, NP-C
Phyllis is a nurse practitioner certified in adult primary care, oncology and genetics. She has practiced at her NP owned and operated family practice in central Virginia, Huddleston Health and Wellness, since September 2017. She is also working with HCR-Manorcare, Heartland Hospice, performs in-home health assessments for Complex Care Solutions, and is a contractor for Admera Health. She is also the owner of Sapient Health Services, PLLC a consulting service licensed in Virginia and North Carolina specializing in genetic testing services for hereditary cancer syndromes and pharmacogenomic testing. She received a diploma RN at Norfolk General Hospital School of Professional Nursing in 1979, a BS in Nursing with a Minor in Psychology at UNC-Greensboro in 1983 and her MS in Nursing Administration also at UNC-G in 1988. She earned two post-masters certificates at Duke, Nursing Informatics in 1997 and Adult Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Primary Care and Oncology in 2005. Phyllis has published, and her original research has been presented in poster presentations at the national level. Phyllis was president of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners(VCNP) from 2012-2014 and was awarded the Distinguished NP Award at the VCNP annual meeting in March 2016.
Wendy received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts and completed a family nurse practitioner post-master’s program in 1995. She is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of two, nurse practitioner owned and operated clinics within New Hampshire named: Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. Her family practices have won numerous awards, including Top Providers in New Hampshire 2018, Top 20 Fastest Growing Family Business, and Top 20 Women-Owned Business in New Hampshire. In addition, she is the Owner of Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company. She is the Past President of NPACE and the Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates. She is the recipient of numerous awards and was chosen by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. In addition, she received the 2009 NH Nurse Practitioner of the Year and the 2014 Top 5 Women in New Hampshire Business Award.
Kathy Baldridge, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP
Kathy Baldridge is a goal directed, results oriented, and insightful influencer. She has been nursing for almost 30 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner more 13 years in Pineville, La. She is currently the director of psychometric analysis at Advanced Practice Education Associates, where she is responsible for the development of predictor exams, question banks, and other quality products to educate nurse practitioners. Dr. Baldridge is the author of Coding & Billing in the Outpatient Clinical Setting: A quick guide, multiple chapters (mostly neurology diagnosis) in APEA’s Clinical Practice Guidelines Book. She is also the co-author of Health system structures and reimbursement mechanisms in Hamric & Hansen: Advanced Practice Nursing, 7 th edition. She also serves as an editorial reviewer for the Journal of AANP. She is an invited speaker and has presented numerous lectures and courses at the local, state, and national level. A certified parish nurse, she has led a team dedicated to congregational health and community outreach. She has worked with rural and urban health professional shortage areas of Louisiana and started a university-based nurse practitioner-led clinic serving the community and a clinical training facility for undergraduate and graduate nursing. Dr. Baldridge is currently the president of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and has served on the board of directors for more than a decade. She has been actively involved in public policy in Louisiana working diligently to improve access to care and health disparities. She is a staunch advocate for the NP Profession. She earned her ADN from Louisiana State University, Alexandria in 1993; her BSN (2006) and MSN (2009) from Northwestern State University; and DNP from the University of Alabama in 2013. Dr. Baldridge is the recipient of the AANP Award for Excellence and was inducted as a Fellow in the AANP in 2017.
Nancy Berman, MSN, ANP-BC, NCMP, FAANP
Nurse Practitioner, Millennium Affiliated Physicians, Division of Michigan Healthcare Professionals Nancy R. Berman specializes in women’s healthcare at Michigan Healthcare Professionals, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She has been a nurse practitioner since 1978 and holds certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and as a Menopause Practitioner from the North American Menopause Society. She received her BSN from the University of Michigan and her MSN from Wayne State University. She has been a nurse colposcopist and expert in HPV and lower genital tract disease for over 30 years. She has authored many publications and educational materials and has lectured extensively on topics in lower genital tract disease, colposcopy, osteoporosis, menopause and women’s health. She served on the board of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) from 2010 through 2016, served as Course Director of the ASCCP Comprehensive Colposcopy Course for a two-year term from 2017 to 2019 and serves on the Michigan Cervical Cancer Consortium. She was inducted as a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2015.
Dr. Fields isResearch Professor and Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion in the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State University. He is also founder and CEO of “The S.D.F Group, LLC”, which is a health innovation consultant company. He hasover 30 years of experience in the health sector as an educator, researcher, clinician, administrator, consultant, health policy specialist, and entrepreneur / business owner. Dr. Fields is a well-known and respected HIV/AIDS prevention research scientist with a significant focus on young men of color. He is an Advanced AIDS Certified Registered Nurse and a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He is a lifetime member of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc., (NBNA) and currently serves as the organization’s national 1st Vice President (2020 – 2022).He was the first ever male Registered Nurse selected for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellowship Program in which he served as a policy adviser to then Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) on the Senate HELP committee during the historic healthcare reform debates and passage of the Affordable Care Act. Dr. Fields is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the National Academies of Practice. He served as the dean of the Mervyn M. Dymally school of nursing at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, and the school of health professions at New York Institute of Technology. In addition, he has held academic and administrative positions at Binghamton University, University of Rochester, FloridaInternational University, and Long Island University-Brooklyn. Dr. Fields received his Ph.D., in Nursing Science from the University of Pennsylvania, his M.S., in Family Nursing and B.S., in Nursing from Binghamton University. He completed his post-doctoral work in the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at the University of California San Francisco.

FEES:
All registrations must be paid in full by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) at the time of registration. NPACE no longer accepts payment by check. If using a Letter of Credit or complimentary registration, please contact the NPACE accounting office at 508-907-6424 for registration information.
CANCELLATION BY REGISTRANT:
Written notice of cancellation must be received by email or letter. A refund, less a $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received no later than one month prior to the conference start date. Refunds are processed based on the original form of payment. A letter of credit, less a $50 non-refundable administrative fee, will be issued when cancellation is received between 30 and 15 days of the conference start date. This is valid for 12 months from issuance and may be used towards any in-person or virtual NPACE event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 14 days of the conference start date*.
